'The importance of this brick-inscription lies in the date it bears and the mention of the contemporary Samanta king, viz, Hamira, Uttara-Narayana who was fourth generation before Khanja Viveka-Narayana in whose time the now dilapidated temple of Vasali was built and to which temple the stone record at inscr. no. 70 belonged.'
